Few Golf 1 convertibles have been equipped with rear speakers. We find them in this form during the last restyling with the addition of more prominent bumpers, for the 1988 vintage. Only some special series or high-end versions were equipped with them, in addition to the front door tweeters (Genesis version, some Classic Line, US versions... with Nokia (!) speakers). If VW still offered them as OEM a few years ago, it is unfortunately no longer the case. These are 3D remanufactured versions of the original.
