For Mercedes Benz Cabrio 220 E model year 1996 (W124). This is a cover unit. The part number of the assembly is: A1246905530 (left side) resp. A1246905630 (right-hand side). This assembly is a cover flap, which is located in the rear interior on the left or right and covers the soft top mechanism (piston etc.) when the convertible top is open. The flaps open again when the soft top is closed. Unfortunately, the connection between the cover flap and the "spring bolt" has come loose so that it can no longer open or close the flap. The connection is quite simple and consists of a washer and a spring tab (small sheet metal part). I am looking for these two parts. (I think they have come loose and got lost while driving...). Mercedes never supplied the washer and spring tab as individual parts, but only as part of the above-mentioned assembly. Attached are pictures of the two cover flaps - left and right. As already mentioned, the washer and the spring tab are missing from the left-hand flap.
