In 1983, Alfa replaced the Alfasud with the 33, but decided to continue the career of the coupé version, which was to be called 'Sprint'. The changes were more than subtle, and not just aesthetic, since the architecture was now based on that of the 33. This restyling, which certainly marks the addition of numerous plastics, is quite a success, particularly on the QV version. The Speedline wheels are particularly attractive, and the green edging all around the vehicle - including the grille - is quite original. At the time, only the 1.5 and 1.5 QV versions were offered on the French market. Although the power output was the same, the QV benefited from a number of adjustments, to the advantage of real sporting ambitions. The 'grail' perhaps: a 1.7 QV version with 117hp din, produced from 1987 onwards ;).
