Dual headlight lenses were introduced with the CX GTI Turbo Series 1. A great idea, and a shame they didn't come out sooner! Perhaps this would have silenced some bad tongues about the CX's lack of boldness compared to its predecessor the DS. They are not directional, however ;). These headlamps were quickly adopted on the top-of-the-range models in the CX Series 2 the following year, and thus on all GTI, Prestige, Limousine and Turbo 2 Diesel models. The model shown here comes from France, and as the seller indicates, they have become very rare in this configuration!
