This rear-door ashtray fits all Citroën CX Series 1 models, with the exception of Prestige models. For the latter, the ashtray was offset to the back of the driver and passenger seats. In fact, as the back door was modified, it included the electric window button as well as the cigarette lighter (classy!). As for the standard ashtray, its shape is particularly elegant. The ashtray is entirely chrome-plated, but some models were painted the same color as the storm door.
