Un peu à l'instar des véhicules d'avant guerre, cet indicateur 'visuel' permettait ainsi de connaître le niveau d'huile moteur. Pour cela, il fallait actionner la tirette que l'on voit ici sur la photo. Situé en bas à gauche du bloc compteur, sous le volant, cet indicateur n'était pas des plus lisibles, tout comme la jauge de température ou horloge digitale, située à l'opposé, que l'on pouvait trouver sur certains modèles.
