Citroën ID hubcaps have evolved several times, both in terms of shape and material (chromed steel, stainless steel, aluminium...). Surprisingly, the very first hubcaps offered on the ID were tiny, covering only the large central bolt! As the years went by, the diameter of the bolt widened, evolving notably with the switch to 5-hole rims in 1966. As usual, many ID owners were tempted to fit their vehicles with DS hubcaps. Admittedly, the exercise couldn't have been simpler ;).
