Original part in fairly good overall condition, but with two minor defects: -A small crack on one of the lower parts, in the middle (glued back in place). -One of the mounting clips is missing However, these two defects have no impact and will not be visible once the part is mounted on top of the dashboard. See in its original language (French) : Courant 1969, Citroën remanie complètement la planche de bord de la DS, qui sera désormais commune aux ID. Elle perd en élégance mais gagne en praticité. A l'aube des années 70, il devient aussi de mise de privilégier les pré-équipements audio, et si l'initiative est encore timide, Citroën installe un emplacement dédié pour le haut-parleur juste au milieu de la planche de bord, sous le pare-brise. L’acoustique est ainsi améliorée. Ces petites grilles en plastique -fragiles au gré des diverses manipulations- pouvaient comprendre comme ici un petit emplacement dédié pour accueillir une molette de répartition du son entre l'avant et l'arrière ('fader'). Cet équipement est particulièrement rare, et peu de DS en furent dotées.
