This is a rather rare piece, corresponding to the very first vintage Citroën GS models produced before the end of 1973 for the French market. In fact, the rear light cabochon is orange, later becoming colorless (European standard). The shape of this tail light, so characteristic of the first GS models (up to 1976), is certainly the most original. It is reminiscent of the shape of the Citroën CX's tail lights ;).

See in its original language (French) : Vous avez ici affaire à une pièce plutôt rare, qui correspond aux tous premiers millésimes de Citroën GS, produites avant fin 1973, pour le marché français. En effet, le cabochon de feu de recul est de couleur orangée, pour devenir ensuite incolore (norme européenne). Cette forme de feu arrière bien caractéristique aux premières GS (jusqu'au millésime 1976) est certainement la plus originale. Elle n'est pas sans rappeler la forme des feux arrières de la Citroën CX ;).
