La 132 fit alors de la 'résistance', pour s'appeler 'Argenta' en 1981 jusqu'à son remplacement par la Fiat Croma. Parmi les motorisations intéressantes, on note l'ajout de l'injection électronique en 1977, le moteur développant alors 122ch.
