Mercedes caravan mirror extensions, stamped with the Mercedes star. They were fitted to a 190 (W201) from 1984/85, but probably fit other vehicles in the range. Very nice condition. More information on request

Une manière de fidéliser leur clientèle, augmenter les revenus annexes, et concurrencer les nombreux équipementiers de seconde monte. Mercedes créa ainsi sa boutique, avec toute sortes d'accessoires, dont des coffres de toit, coffre à ski, ou encore comme ici des extensions de rétroviseurs, accessoire quasiment indispensable à l'époque, les véhicules étant beaucoup moins larges qu'ils ne le sont aujourd'hui. La chose paraît un brin désuète, avec son système de fixation sur les ailes avant, mais sied parfaitement au styles des années 70 et 80, et s'avère parfaite si vous compter partir en vacances avec une caravane de la même génération ;).
