Inspired by the rims on the famous R5 Turbo, these wheels were initially fitted to R18 Turbo D models, then to all R18 type 2 models for the 1984 model year, starting with the GTL/GTD version. Also fitted on some Fuego models, they have become quite rare to find, and it's even rarer to find them in good condition (the shiny effect is quite difficult to reproduce in a restoration). For the record, R18 Turbo petrol cars were also fitted with these beautiful rims in certain export markets such as Spain, instead of the 'half-moon' rims.
