This is the second-generation speedometer offered on the Renault 4L, more complete than its predecessor. Colors would evolve with each vintage and finish, not to mention the switch from 6V to 12V electrical circuitry (very late, in 1970), but the general shape would remain unchanged until 1982, when the dashboard underwent its last major overhaul, in order to face the 80s more serenely. Note that this type of counter was either produced by Jaeger, or Veglia (as shown here), with a few slight differences (fastening system among others).
