These grille badges were a Renault fad from the late '70s to the mid '80s, and not just on turbocharged models. They were found on the R14, R18, R20 and others. An easy way to identify the vehicle's engine, and not just from the rear! This remanufactured logo is faithful to the original, with the exception of the lettering, which includes a chrome deposit. However, the difference isn't particularly noticeable, especially as the logo is affixed to the vehicle's radiator grille. The badge is identical to that of the Renault 18 Turbo, but the fastenings are quite specific. The R9 and R11 Series 2 also featured the same logo, but in red.
