These rims have been fitted as an option on several Safrane 1 series from the RT version, but unless I'm mistaken, they were originally designed specifically for the 'Palme d'Or' special series. If you are French speaking and a fan of 'Les Nuls', you will have seen it in their mythical movie 'La cité de la peur' ;-). These rims remind the style of the 'Baccara' finishes that could be found on the Renault range, like Clio, R19 and R21, but their design is unique. Finding them is still relatively easy, but they are often in poor condition, as the shiny effect is gone. To find such a shiny effect during a restoration is often a real challenge, and expensive. Last but not least, most of these rims are four holes. This is a very rare 5 holes model, which was supposed to be fitted on the V6 PRV versions.
