This computer may seem a little outdated today, but when it was unveiled at the end of 1979 on the Simca-Talbot Horizon SX, it caused a sensation. Coupled with an automatic gearbox and cruise control, it was unprecedented for a European production model. The computer was modelled on the tripmaster used on rally cars. Among other things, it displayed the time, elapsed time, average speed, total and average fuel consumption... Some versions featured different colors, with white and red accents. Several models in the Simca-Talbot range were equipped with it, before the brand replaced it with an even more psychedelic version, typical of the early 80s ;).
