This part is now very easy to find in remanufacturing, and sometimes partially in stainless steel. Note that the round end caps of remanufactured parts are generally black, and not grey as in this case.

See in its original language (French) : Ces manettes de chauffage (communes aux 2CV, Dyane, et Méhari à partir du début des années 70), sont logées sous le tableau de bord. Elles on tendance à s'oxyder avec le temps, du fait notamment des infiltrations d'eau si le joint de pare-brise n'est plus étanche. On retrouve désormais cette pièce très facilement en refabrication, et parfois partiellement en inox. A noter que les embouts ronds des pièces de refabrication sont en général noir, et pas gris comme c'est le cas ici.
