See in its original language (French) : Cet indicateur de température moteur fut installé quelques années après la sortie des CX. Chose particulièrement incongrue, et comme pour la DS, Citroën n'avait pas jugé utile de rajouter de série un indicateur de température, mais seulement un témoin d'alerte (qui s'allume bien souvent trop tard...). Chose encore plus incongrue, il n'y avait même pas d'espace de laissé libre pour la CX, et Citroën dû trouver une place peu 'amène' au niveau du genou droit du conducteur! Seuls les modèles les plus puissants de la gamme en furent équipés. Sa forme est plutôt élégante mais nous ramène quelques années en arrière, avec un design plutôt propre à la DS. Quelques années plus tard, Citroën corrigea d'ailleurs le tir (millésime 1983), mais ce fut au tour de l'horloge numérique de prendre la place de cet indicateur. Décidément...
