Over the course of their very long careers, DS and ID models have seen a multitude of on-board manuals, some of them model-specific. This is one of the very first manuals with a 3-meter dashboard, issued for the 1970 model year. Note that Citroën Germany's headquarters were based just outside Cologne at the time. These booklets (like the advertising brochures) could vary from country to country. The preparation of such a manual was extremely time-consuming, requiring the hiring of specialized translation staff. Artificial intelligence has since changed all that, probably to the detriment of quality... ;).

Il s'agit ici des tout premiers manuels avec le tableau de bord à 3 compteurs ronds, sorti pour le millésime 1970. On remarque ici que le siège de 'Citroën Allemagne' était à l'époque basé juste à coté de Cologne. Ces livrets (tout comme les brochures publicitaires) pouvaient varier en fonction des pays. La préparation d'un tel manuel représentait un travail extrêmement chronophage, nécessitant notamment l'embauche de personnel spécialisé dans la traduction.
