Since the launch of the DS in 1955, it has always been standard practice to offer an on-board clock. The least we could do on a vehicle of this standing ;). The first IDs didn't come with one, but it was soon offered on the luxury versions. Throughout the DS's career, various models were offered (the first being the most original). The model presented here is the latest of its kind, a little bland perhaps, but very much in the spirit of the times, and offered from 1969 onwards on new-generation dashboards. Nowadays, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find one in good condition, to the point that the model is now offered for remanufacturing. The result is quite average (without the 'Jaeger - transistor' label). It's best to go for the original, wherever possible ;).

La moindre des choses tout de même sur un véhicule d'un tel standing ;). Les premières ID n'en étaient pas pourvues, mais la chose fut proposée rapidement sur les version Luxe. Sur toute la carrière de la DS, différents modèles furent proposés (les premiers étant les plus originaux). Le modèle présenté ici est le dernier du genre, un peu fade peut-être, mais bien dans l'air du temps, et proposé à partir de 1969 sur les nouvelles générations tableau de bord. Il devient de nos jours de plus en plus difficile d'en trouver en bon état, au point que le modèle est désormais proposé en refabrication. Le résultat est assez moyen (sans comporter la mention 'Jaeger - transistor'). Autant privilégier l'origine, dans la mesure du possible ;).
