It represents -without naming it- the first small 'GTI', although the initiative was rather timid at its release in 1975 (it only developed 66 hp DIN, but for a 'feather' weight). This brochure presents the 1977 model, which has changed very little since its launch. It was not until 1979 and the release of the ZS2 that the 104 became a real sports coupe. However, the first versions are still more elegant, and hide their game well ;).
