The R11 TXE - the top of the line R11 except for the Turbo- were equipped with the famous 'petal' seats that were found on almost all Renault models equipped with a 'peppy' (not necessarily sporty) engine. These seats are extremely comfortable and hold the driver and passenger very well, but unfortunately the fabrics tend to stretch quite easily. Finding period fabrics can also be a real obstacle course, and it can sometimes be useful to recover another seat as part of a restoration project.
